So it's no surprise that I loved this book. I love Glenna Maynard since the first book I read and my obsession with all things that come out of her creative mind are just wonderful. That being said and knowing that this is her first book (yeah I came in late in the game.) I was shocked that this book does have a HEA ending. Personally I would have loved for Grace to tell them all to go to hell and start fresh somewhere else. I would like to think that the Glenna we all know and love now would agree with me and we would of seen her flipping off all those crappy people in her life and driving away. Alas this is not how the story goes...so I guess then I am glad that Grace and Evan cleaned up their acts and that lying piece of sex on a stick Jaxson went away and the HEA happened. So if you like your heroine/ main man damaged but fixable with an added ass and s***ty best friend this is the book for you. Enjoy

Great story line. I could feel myself as the characters like the characters were real. I really was torn between who I thought Gracie was and who she chose. Cant wait to read the next book by Glenna Maynard.
Really liked how it started but didn't like the ending. This book is all about second chances. How life gives us the chance to redeem ourselves.
Fantastic storyline and I loved how it wasn't what you think was going to happen! Couldn't put it down and I loved the nice twist at the end! Looking forward to reading Ms. Maynard's next one in this series Beautiful Liars! I'm off to read now!
I finally got around to reading this book after it has been on my TBR list for 5 months. I am glad that I finally read it. It started off so good. The story line was different than most books and the writing has a good flow. The last part of the book kind of made me mad. It just wrapped up in like a chapter. I think the author could have made the book longer or even made this a series. I know I would have loved to read more. The ending is the only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars. I loved it otherwise.
I really had no idea what to expect when I picked up this book. I loved the cover! Anything with masquerade type imagery always gets me. However, I didn't expect to be so torn by this story. I don't want to give away any spoilers but the main character is remarkable! She is not the cookie cutter protagonist you'd expect. She is sexy, gritty, and will do anything to her way! This woman will surprise you at every turn! Just when you think you know what she'll do...um, she'll shock you with...shall I say really provocative actions. Prepare for a satisfying ride!

I loved it so much.

It was not predictable. The story was original and flowed really well. It was also H.O.T!

Grace is damaged with a capital "D". She's battling demons, but determined to get her life on track. It's very admirable.

She's a strong female lead and even though she's underhanded at times, and you might want to smack her, you can't help but love her and root for her.

Jaxon is SEXY... melt your panties, make you do naughty things, and spontaneously combust sexy.

Evan is an ass. Straight up. He's the guy you pray that no female you love ever becomes involved with.

Grace must fight her demons, really look within herself, and figure out what she truly wants and what she has to do to get it.
Beautiful Strangers is a page turner and a nail biter, but it's one book you don't want to miss!

So, I had just got done reading the slowest book of my life and stumbled on this one and let me say WOW! Yes, the heroine has a strong drug addiction and if the author was trying to make you feel the drugs along with her.....YOU DO! Reading this book I felt like I was on speed. However, this may not appeal to some people but it really kept the book interesting. It was VERY fast past (almost too fast) but after reading a really slow book I think any pace book would of been great for me. The sex scenes were good (could of been a little more descriptive)
I think what I loved most was the relationships in this book were raw and real. People really act like this in real life. The heroine didn't have to go into descriptive detail about all her feelings and emotions. Just straight to the point
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was I wanted it to end different (just a personal preference) and you do feel you are on speed reading the book, it could of slowed just a little.
